Los fotógrafos Pierre Javelle y Akiko Ida han creado espectaculares escenarios de la vida diaria en deliciosa comida. Ellos son fotógrafos de comida en su vida diaria, pero desde el 2002 tienen este proyecto llamado MINIMAM llamado así por el juego de palabras Yummy  (miam en Francés).

“Los dos somos fotógrafos de comida en nuestro trabajo diario, y a los dos nos encanta cocinar, comer y todo lo relacionado con la comida”, dice Ida. “Entonces cuando iniciamos este proyecto de personas pequeñas, naturalmente creamos las historias relacionadas con la comida.”

Las figuras de cada fotografía son las que utilizan para los trenes a escala, y generalmente utilizan la escala 1/87, que es un tamaño perfecto para explorar tierras de donas o panes glaseados que son convertidos en escenarios de aventuras invernales.
